Here we go again! Back to Boone

So some of you have heard and its been a long time since December 2011 so time for an update.
Thursday September 26th, 2013 we were admitted to the hospital to get our twins I'm carry checked out due to some abdominal pain I was experiencing. Our hope was of course something easily resolvable and be sent home. However, God's plan is different and that is why we live each day to its fullest. WE are all fine, but I'm dilated more the my doc would like to see at 26 weeks so she is having me stay here on bed rest. We think it may be until delivery but have slight hopes of being sent home on bed rest.

I have not had any contractions (knock on wood) or preterm labor, but I am at a high risk for pre term labor based on some other test results. All other tests seem to be coming back good for all of us: Babies heart beats are really good - been moving whenever the nurses want to monitor them, haven't shown contractions when being monitored either. This is how we plan to keep it.

Our goal is to get to 34 weeks. Right now we are going to try to get to 28 weeks, then 30 weeks. SO 2 at a time. Actually each day but long term. :) For those who didn't know we are having a boy and a girl and are still in the process of deciding on names. We decided with Oliver in the hospital and he wasn't even on the list. Right now we don't even have a list!!! We are working on it.

Its hard to think it was two years ago we were in this same place. Many of the nurses are the same, we feel like we are in the best hands even though its not where we wanted to be. Each day is a blessing and we want to give these two little ones the best chance! Parents know you have to do what you have to for your kids and that starts before they are ever here. We know its going to be an up and down ride, but we are as ready as we can be, with our faith, family, friends and love we will make it through this too. God gives his biggest challenges to those he feels can handle them and we know we have many angels watching over us!
