Incubation - Day 14

I don;t really know where to start tonight... I need a key word or focal point.... I guess football would be it. I'm very excited that football season is upon us, for a number of reason but probably mostly because it gives me something to watch 4 of 7 nights out of the week. The Illini won big today, of course they weren't playing anyone so they should have won big. We watched the Iowa v. Iowa state game this afternoon, well I did. Kevin was exhausted from the four day work week - I don't know how he going to make it this week having to go all five days. :) What a game!! Being an Illini fan I didn't care who won so that made it all the more exciting to watch, 3 OT's!! Then we watched the Penn State v. Alabama game, which was not really a contest. Now Notre Dame v. Michigan is on in the first night game at The Big House. I just hope it is an exciting game! The uniforms are awful, why do schools mess with something that works... I guess it's a throwback game maybe because the refs are in throwback attire.... I don't know, but its a mistake. Someone should have asked me first! :)

Another good report from the doctor today, everything still looking good on the printouts from the monitor and my condition is staying steady also! The baby was very active this afternoon moving around, a very good sign!! following the doctor's orders is definitely doing the trick, so we'll continue to stay the course!!

I read most of the afternoon, trying to finish that darn book - about 60 pages to go! I'm going to try to finish it tonight! Before dinner arrived I decided to shower, since it had been since Wednesday I felt pretty greazy. ;) It felt nice to sit in the warm water and clean up. Again the little things... I'm looking forward to Monday's ultrasound to see the little one again! It's so neat and such a miracle! I am so excited to be a mom! I hope I'm a good one!

We had a couple of visitors Kendyl and her mom Lynne stopped by for a bit. It was nice to see them and hear how things are going in KV, sounds like you all are holding it down. It's sorta hard to believe how many people care about us and are thinking of us and praying for us, we are blessed beyond belief! We love all of you as well and are very grateful.

It's so nice to have time with Kevin, even though we are confined to this room. I know he is so excited about fatherhood and concerned about the baby and me, I wish he could be with us all week and I know he does too. Just him being here brings a sense of relief, comfort, and happiness to me - he loves us so much!! We are very lucky! I I love him very much and I know our little one does too! I am very much looking forward to seeing Kevin with Baby Powell and taking care of the little one!! So much excitement!! Just a bit longer!!

Well I was going to upload a belly picture but I don't think I am ready for the world wide web to have that kind of access to me! So no new pictures today, maybe tomorrow :)

It's been a pretty lazy Saturday and so there is not much updating, but I'm dedicated to doing this EVERYDAY so I hope not to bore you too often!

To all a good night
